Mastering ROI Analysis
What is ROI?
Return on Investment (ROI) is a performance measure used to evaluate the efficiency or profitability of an investment. It measures the amount of return on an investment relative to the investment’s cost. Our AssetMaster ROI Tool uses the standard formula: $ROI = \frac{\text{Net Profit}}{\text{Cost of Investment}} \times 100$.
ROI vs. ROAS
While ROI measures the total bottom-line profit, ROAS (Return on Ad Spend) only looks at the revenue generated from specific marketing costs. Understanding both is critical for businesses to ensure that high revenue isn't being cancelled out by even higher operational expenses.
Common Applications of ROI:
- Marketing Campaigns
- Real Estate Assets
- Employee Training
- Software Automation
- New Product R&D
